Funkiskök Original

Funkiskök Original is a kitchen with roots in the 30's and 50's. Doors and drawer fronts are rebated and have a soft rounding/radius towards the frame which gives a pleasant expression without shadows. The doors hang on a classic, rebated hinge in nickel-plated steel. Doors are fitted with snap locks that are mounted in our carpentry shop before delivery.

Display cabinet

In our kitchen series Original and Modern, we offer display cases. They are available in widths of 800 mm and 400 mm mm. And in two heights, 900 mm and 700 mm.

Stainless steel sink

A stainless steel sink is a classic feature of functionalism. They fit nicely in all our kitchen series and is a practical, durable and timeless option. With personal choices about the number of sinks, taps and drip edge, we can easily help create a unique sink.

Hinges

When we have a rebated door, we always install a classic rebated walking iron. In our Original and Modern kitchen ranges we have therefore chosen a nickel-plated rebated hinge in classic Proportions. We install our doors the old-fashioned way by to fold the hinge into the door but not into the frame. It does that a gap of about 2 mm is formed between the door and the frame. Then you have room for many layers of paint without the doors risking to "stick" again.

Fittings Original

Depending on the fittings you choose, you can change the look of the kitchen in a simple way. Many people choose the classic cabinet rule 5181 (Tick trunk handle) and drawer fitting 5182 for our Original kitchens. These are then assembled before delivery. In these cases, it is not necessary to The snapper without the flap closes with the strike plate of the fitting. This because the doors are then drilled with a 20 mm hole.

Cutting board

In our Original kitchen series, we can offer a classic pull-out cutting board in two of our cabinets. It is manufactured in beech veneer on a pine grain and surface treated with paraffin oil.

Cabinet seats

In all our kitchen series, we have cabinet seats that create both storage and seating options. A must for that social kitchen. The drawers are spacious and the bench also fits well into a hallway storage. Our benches in two depths, 585 mm and 385 mm.

Redahylla

For our Original kitchen series, you can order shelves with glass bushels–a classic feature of kitchens in the mid-1900s. Our Redahylla shelves are manufactured in a small carpentry shop in Skåne and are available in 400 mm width and 600 mm width. They come painted in the same colour as the kitchen frame when you select them in our drawing program. They can also be purchased separately and delivered unpainted.

ORIGINAL SERIES CABINETS

We have created over 60 different cabinets with standard dimensions in our Original series. The cabinets are typical of the period, but also suited to a more modern environment. Our kitchen cabinets are built to order, by hand in Skåne. You can choose left or right cabinet door hanging as well as interior decoration options. All dimensions of base and tall cabinets include a 120mm front plinth/toe kick which is delivered unassembled. The cabinets are delivered assembled and pre-painted. More product information.

All frames, drawers and shelves are made of 20 mm solid pine. The frame is surface treated in six steps and is always hand-painted. Door and drawer fronts are made of deep milled MDF. Door and drawer fronts are spray-painted.
