PETERSTORPSVÄGEN
This classic working kitchen is located at Ribersborg in Malmö in one of Eric Sigfrid Persson’s high-rise buildings overlooking the Malmö’s sound. Eric Sigfrid Persson was the developer behind Malmgården (1934-35), Ribershus (1937-38) and Friluftsstaden (1942-48). These neighborhoods are still perhaps Malmö’s most attractive residential areas in true “Funkis” (functional) tradition. Eric started as a carpenter and bricklayer’s apprentice and with supplementary courses in architecture and building construction, he later became a frequently hired developer by the City of Malmö. He was innovative, and the great modern currents in architecture around the world became the inspiration for his construction works. He invented the swivel perspective window and later went into furniture design. Color code of the kitchen is NCS S 2005-G70Y.
