Funkiskök Modul is our most timeless kitchen interior for both modern and older existing architecture. A light and stripped-down kitchen where doors and drawers are flush with the frame. With the help of color, worktop and backsplash options, these kitchens can fit just as well in a new construction as in a turn-of-the-century apartment.

Solid frame

Our Modul series has a 58 mm visible lintel on the frame above the door panels. This gives the kitchen a classic look and makes the kitchen series equally suitable in both older and newly built homes.

Solid frame kitchen

Funkiskök Modul is a classic kitchen in solid wood. This means that drawer fronts and doors are flush with the leading edge of the frame. This creates a timeless expression that is reminiscent of older, site-built kitchen cabinets. In addition, the kitchen is very easy to maintain.

Hinges

The doors hang on modern, damped hinges with soft closure. Since no part of the hinge is visible from the outside, the choice of fittings is what can really make a mark on your kitchen. Modern, classic or stripped-down. All the drawers slide on Blum's Movento full-extension rails with damping/soft closing feature.

Stripped down minimalism

In our Module series, it is possible to get a solid wood lamella with lathed pine vaneer front and back. The material has a nice solid feel and is, in our opinion, one of the few materials that meets the requirements of being a reasonably flat kitchen door.

As the material is not produced primarily to be visible with the highest classes of surface finish, small deviations in the material can occur. We think these deviations are relatively small and think the pros far outweigh the cons. You can choose to oil, wax or paint with any color.

Colour

The kitchens are painted with the same colour on both frames and doors. It's Slightly more matte (gloss 20) than standard and creates a luxurious feel. The interior is treated with paraffin oil, which protects the surface from stains.

Integrated fridge/freezer

Integrated appliances can be used in all our kitchen series. Here you can see our tall cabinets intended for fridges and freezers with 2 Doors. Due to the placement of the irons in the Functionalist Kitchen Modul series, the tall cabinet is widened to 640 mm so that there is Plenty of space for the inside of the fridge. There are also tall cabinets with a standard width of 600 mm intended as a pantry.

Two different depths

Some of our base cabinets are available in a shallower size of 385 cm. They are: nice to use as serving furniture and can be placed in the living room, kitchen or in the hallway.

MODULER I KÖKSSERIEN MODUL

We have created over 60 different cabinets with standard dimensions in our Modul series.Combine them in the way that suits you you and your needs. Our kitchen cabinets are built to order, by hand in Skåne. You can choose left or right cabinet door hanging as well as interior decoration options. All dimensions of base and tall cabinets include a 120mm front plinth/toe kick which is delivered unassembled. The cabinets are delivered assembled and pre-painted. All frames, drawers and shelves are made of 20 mm solid pine. The frame is surface treated in six steps and is always hand-painted. Door and drawer fronts are made of deep milled MDF. Door and drawer fronts are spray-painted.
