The house was built in 1913 and the whole property has lots of original details that were in need of a good dose of love and care. Everything from windows, doors, floors and serving aisles has been carefully renovated. A substantial investment by the property owner which feels great that we have been able to contribute in a time of wear and tear.

For this project Funkiskök delivered kitchen cabinets for a total of 14 kitchens and four kitchenettes. The architectural firm chose our kitchen series Module where the door is flush with the frame. With its timeless and stylish design language, Modul fits nicely into old architecture but with a slightly more modern twist.

  • To increase the work area, a kitchen island was installed. Perfect surface for socializing or homework.

  • The beautiful windows were carefully renovated and nicely lets in light to the kitchens.

  • The inside of our kitchen cabinets is treated with paraffin oil to increase resistance to dirt and moisture. We also always provide extra paint in case of minor damage during installation.

  • In our Modul kitchen series, the doors are flush with the frame, which means that minimal shadows are formed. Simple and timeless.

  • In these kitchens, we have worked with Carrara marble. Stylish and elegant.

  • The inside of the cabinets is treated with paraffin oil, which increases the resistance to dirt and stains. All our drawers run on Blum's high-quality fully extendable rails that can withstand 40 kg of weight.

  • Our solid wood kitchens are built in a modular system with fixed dimensions to reduce the environmental footprint and streamline manufacturing and material waste.
